We have owned two Cockapoos over the years, both featured in The Cockapoo Handbook by Linda Whitwham. Both of our girls were home breed, so extra special in our eyes.
Sadly our first poo, Margot, passed away a few years ago. Margot was the most delighful dog, and it was her gorgeous personality that iinspired us to continue breeding this wonderful crossbreed. She also encouraged quite a few families to step onto the Cockapoo ladder. Everyone who met Margot was greeted with an enthusiastic and warm welcome. Margot had some gorgeous puppies who inherited her laid back personality, wicked sense of humour, and super chocolatey coloured coat.
Chummy in now in her twilight years, however, she is still one of the fastest dogs on our family walks. Originally a treat for a daughter for studying hard for her exams, Chummy proved to be a very attentive mother and produced a variety of different coloured puppies. Out and about Chummy's personality is totally different from the independent Margot, Chummy, being the typical velcro Cockapoo, she is always by your side. Chummy is enjoying her retirement, in the countryside, and remains in the family.
